What, no "Tree of Life"? C'mon!

I admired "The Tree of Life." Singled it out in my mid-year round-up. However, I found that the film quickly evaporated from my mind. It had no staying power - with me, at least. Also, the titles on my list are films that I would willingly consider sitting through a second or third time. There you have it.

I have barely seen any of the movies mentioned. My in theater viewing this past year, sad to say, was made up comic book or action films. That said, I remember reading that even Sean Penn, the star of "Tree of Life" was not even sure what the movie was really about. For me, that speaks volumes.

Good list - the apotheosis of the best of a lacking movie year.

Good list. We have some similarities: http://eriklundegaard.com/item/my-top-10-movies-of-2011

I need to see "Margaret" and "The Double Hour."

I'm particularly glad there's another "Young Adult"/Charlize Theron fan out there.
