I have a ...I love Janis Paige, and this great post. I have a short anecdote and though I can't remember the details I have to share it since Paige is real treasure. I was driving through the southwest in the late 80s when I heard a commercial on the radio for a local restaurant. Don't remember the the town. Their claim to fame was that Janis Paige had autographed one of their tables. They promised fine dining and a peek at the cordoned-off landmark. I really hope somebody somewhere can corroborate this.
