Frankly, I loathe and detest "people" and "society," so I was utterly delighted with the nominees for Best Picture.<br /> <br />Sure, most people weren't interested in most of the nominated films (other than AMERICAN SNIPER).<br /> <br />But, Joe, and you must agree with me, most people aren't smart. If they had their way, HOT TUB TIME MACHINE 2 would win Best Picture, or these horrible "special effects" monstrosities which make no sense would get the majority of the awards.<br /> <br />So what if this "type" of moviegoer isn't "connecting with" the Academy and its choices for Best Picture.
